I want to know about GOST certification, we produce cheese, dairy foods and quarks.
How we can obtain this certification?
What time and conditions? Please, give us more information how we can export to Russia and what documents we must get before.

Thank you and best regards.

Dear sirs,

For the customs clearance and lawful selling cheese on the territory of Russia you should obtain the 2 types of Russian Certificates:

1. Expert's Report (ER) from Federal service on customers' rights protection and human well-being surveillance (Rospotrebnadzor) (previously this document is called as Hygienic conclusion/Sanitary Certificate).

The document confirms the compliance with Hygienic and Sanitary requirements of Customs Union between Russia, Byelorussia, Kazakhstan. Expiration date is unlimited. You get this Certificate once and use it without time limit. More information see on our web-site http://optimatest.com/experts-report/
Lead time of executing certificate is about 15 working days.
For calculation of costs we need to analyse full list of products.

2. ROSTEST Certificate of Conformity GOST (Technical Regulations on milk and dairy products) is the obligatory document for food products.
You need to obtain GOST Certificates.
The cost of ROSTEST certificate depends on your product range.
The time of issuing Certificate of Conformity is about 5 working days.

The documents for the certification:
- catalogue of products, specification
- label with the ingredients info (composition)
- veterinary certificate / certificate of origin / quality certificate
- other national or international certificates or standards (ISO, HAACP, IFS, BRC etc...)
The documents will be both in origin language and russian translation.

We can get you certain price offer if you send us more information about your products (list, sprcification). Send it via e-mail info@optimatest.com

If you have any questions or ambiguity, please, don't hesitate to ask me.
Yours faithfully,
